June 24, 2011
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has been added to General
Electric Corporate Global Recruiting and Staffing Services' select
list of GE Executive Schools. Rose-Hulman joins Stanford
University and the University of California-Berkeley on making the
list this year.
"After many years of successfully recruiting top engineering
students from Rose-Hulman, the elevated status as one of our 45
executive schools is intended to bring added focus and resources to
our recruiting efforts," said Ralph Kirkpatrick, vice president and
chief engineer for GE Energy. "Our goal will be to work on
developing a stronger partnership with the administration, Office
of Career Services, faculty and key student organizations at
Rose-Hulman. We want to expand the opportunities that we have
for Rose students to build careers across the company."
