Homecoming Coverage

This Year the Rose-Hulman website will be covering
Homecoming like never before.
- Leading up to that eventful weekend, we will feature articles
on the Homecoming Award-winners, articles on the new facilities
around campus, and photo albums from Homecomings gone by -
including favorite images sent in by our Facebook Friends.
- During the weekend - that's September 23-4 - our roving cameras
and videographers will be capturing candid footage of the hijinx,
the nostalgia and the pomp.
- As we unveil our new construction and introduce three new Vice
Presidents, 2011 will be a unique Homecoming. But that doesn't mean
we will leave out any of the longtime, favorite traditions:

The Bonfire Tradition
An old fashioned pep rally gets you ready for the big game on
Saturday. You will witness the crowning of this year's Homecoming
queen. And you will share in the momentous and memorable Homecoming
bonfire.
The Reunions
Whether it's a round of golf, the All-Alumni Party or one of the
several class reunions, Homecoming will let you to hook up with
classmates and their families, and recall the "good old days" on
campus. You are in luck if you're in the class of 1961, 1966,
1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001 or 2006: Plan to enjoy a
class reunion while you're "home" at Rose.
Cheers for the Engineers
You can join the campus community in supporting the Fightin'
Engineers as they host Hanover College in this year's Homecoming
football game. There will also be home matches for the
volleyball, women's tennis, women's soccer and men's soccer
teams.
Tours of What's New On Campus
The new Student Innovation Center will be in use and open for
tours, and you can look for the stars at the Oakley Observatory.
Make plans to see the exciting things happening at
Rose-Hulman. Visit your academic department to meet old
faculty and staff members, view our state-of-the-art laboratories
or take a simple stroll through the Root Quad one more
time.
