with Hanover College in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference Women's Basketball Semifinal Game on Saturday at 5
p.m. at Franklin College.
The No. 6 seeded Fightin' Engineers upset No. 3 Manchester 48-37 on Friday night to earn their first postseason victory in program history.
Alisa Dickerson, Sheree Williams and Heather Finnell each reach double figures to lead the balanced Rose-Hulman offense against Manchester. The Fightin' Engineers also held Manchester to just 21% from the field to earn the win.
Rose-Hulman improved to 9-17 on the season and hopes to advance to its first conference tournament title game in program history on Saturday.
Hanover finished the regular season at 20-4 overall and tied for the HCAC regular season title at 16-2 in league games. The Panthers received a first-round bye as the No. 2 seed for the conference tournament.
