Note on Accreditation of Graduate Studies

Graduate Degree programs are available in biomedical, chemical, civil, environmental, electrical and computer, mechanical, and optical engineering as well as engineering management. The related undergraduate degree programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The various departments offering the listed degrees are investigating graduate degree accreditation requirements as a result of a recent change in engineering accreditation, which will allow programs to be accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
